So I am putting my 63 together and I came across a guy out here that had a nice set of correct, 60/40 bench seats. The covers are super old. The guy claimed they were original and they look it, but how would he know, right?
Anyway, as you can see my gold dash paint job(original color of my car) a friend did is no where near the correct color but it doesnt bother me as this will be a fun street strip car and not a resto.
It got me thinking though and after looking at some original sales brochures, it seems that you could not get black interior in a 63 savoy two door sedan??? Is this right?
I have a line on a black steering wheel so I may pull the dash frame and paint it black. I also bought some stuff from an old school racer who claims to have a set of original black and white savoy door panels although I have yet to see them.
Anyone of you guys have input on this? The brochure only shows white, gold, blue and tan, I think??

This was a Canada car, I know it was original to this car.

I'm getting my black and white door panels tomorrow. I'll post them up here when they arrive.

Maybe you could find the time to go to Nome, Alaska for me and tow back that '57 Belvedere that is buried in frozen mud up to the roof. I need it delivered to a guy in Dade county Florida by Sunday.
