Curious if any of you know if the instrument cluster bezel design on a 64 fury is the same as a polara. I kind of want to swap my polara cluster to a fury cluster, because I like the round gauges. My father in law made the comment that he didn't know if the pattern on the facing was the same. I have 3 different 64 polara clusters, but don't have a fury cluster to compare it with. Lol

Canada used to do it...

I figured it would all fit. I was just curious if I would have to get all the dash trim so it would all match, or if the trim pattern was the same (as in same verticle lines, spaced the same, if that makes since) or if I could just get a cluster to go along with the rest of the trim. I heard in Canada they put fury dashes in them, but didn't know if it was all the same asthetically. If any of that makes since

I'm not sure if they put the whole dash frame into the body or if the frames are the same and the bolt in clusters just bolt in? Need to check a parts book.

the Plymouth & dodge circuit boards are different

I figured the circuit board would be different. I will work around that.

If you're going to own a '62 to '65 "B" body you have to know this guy...

It's his life, knows these cars inside and out. Has many parts also. Call or email him. Great guy to deal with. He's a member on here too. @Joe Suchy

The clusters use different harness connectors but otherwise they are the same mounting bolt pattern. The adjoining dash pieces are the same size but I understand the detail of the vertical lines are different. I don't know how noticable that would be. I prefer the plymouth dash over my Dodge, but I haven't found a nice enough one to go through the hassle of reworking or replacing the harness.

That's what I was wondering about was the detail in the lines. I wish I had one to compare before I bought one. I have to rewire everything anyway when I go back together with mine. Just trying to get ahead of the game. I would probably have my cluster restored any way. So if I could come across a decent useable fury cluster that needs refinished I would be happy with that. I just wasn't sure how they would match up

I have refinished bezels for the 64 Ply! Get back to me if you're interested,

I was going to do the exact same thing in my Dodge - I like the Plymouth gauge layout much better - I think I have a spare plymouth cluster - I can go look in my storage shed tomorroe

Not to hijack here, but does anyone know where the lubrication points are on the speedometer itself? I had my entire cluster redone a couple of years ago and the needle sometimes sticks and is a little jumpy. I've got a needle oiler for lubing gun parts so I can be really prescise, its not knowing if there is a easy vs hard way of lubing the gears up.

With the 64 Face, all you have to do is a little shaving and aftermarket gauges fit.
