These are all great, but I must say I have a particular affinity for the Bullet chase ... McQueen’s Mustang vs. the sinister black Dodge Charger.

Play each of them when you're bored or need to get away from Schiff and Pelosi, ANTIFA, BLM and the MSM liars.

Good idea! I thought the original gone in 60 seconds was something to see as well. .lots of cars crashed during that show

I always thought the car chases in each of the Bourne movies were pretty darn good!

Hey Mark, I think you lost your link or list of chases in your post.....not seeing anything.

I think The Driver (1978) is one of the best movies with car chases ever.
Maybe not the best car chase ever, though.

Don't know how to put videos on here but IIRC The 7-UPS with Roy Scheider ain't bad.

Looked like Kowalski, never knew about that chase and now it's right up there.
Yep- Kowalski indeed. The movie is mediocre, but it's nice to see him pound the **** out of something other than a Mopar. Sometime around 1980 I was flipping channels late at night and happened upon this chase scene. Imagine my surprise when I saw the driver!

The Seven Ups. Watch to the end. Same bad guy driver from Bullitt. Bill Hicks.

Vanishing Point, the org. was no slouch

almost the whole movie was a chase scene
or hi-speed driving of some sort

Special Mention
a couple of the old Elvis flicks had race scenes
(cheesy flicks, but I like em')
66-67 Hemi Charger in Speedway
or a couple had 65-67 AC Cobra's, road racing
& a Prototype Can Am, injected BBC

Viva Las Vegas had the Cobra & some prototype
16 valve 4 banger
& a young hot Ann Margret too :p

James Caan in Redline 7000, racing a 67 Hemi Charger NASCAR

Hated baby driver. As if that mumbling, shoe gazing, headphone wearing 'emo prick is the hero type and role model for today's modern male. The proliferation of the new age, beta male cuck is spurred on by movies like baby driver.

As for the list, they should've placed gone in 60 seconds 2002 instead of pansy baby driver. They included that little rice burner but not the new Eleanor? Please.

Oh and what about the '05 DOH movie? The driving of the GL that was handled by professional drifter Rhys Millen and even the trained actor Sean William Scott was pretty damn good for an old boat like the Charger. That chase sequence that took place in Hazard town itself was pretty slick and the General Lee has never looked better...

Agree Vanishing Point (original) was done pretty well for a low budget flick that escalated to 'cult' status. It left you wondering what was in Kowalski's head just depressed for his dead girlfriend and the bad **** he experienced in life. Glad I wasn't the guy waiting for my new Challenger to be delivered...lol. Too bad the remake was so corny despite a great actor Viggo in it. Same could be said for the sequel of American Graffiti. Some know the incredible planning and efforts it took to do the Bullitt chase scene. It took over 10 days of filming with the old cameras back then and a few mistakes along the way like trashed cameras left in the scenes. They did all sorts of modifications to the Mustang for it to survive the SF streets and what I read about the Charger...all they did was adjust the T-bars. The Charger was destroyed with all of 600 miles on the odometer. Tell ya, I drove those streets some 30 years ago in a rental car and nope, no friggin way the Chev Malibu I had took those hills more than 15 MPH without bottoming out.

There's another great chase scene in a cop flick with Gene Hackman from the early or mid-70's in NYC, can't recall the name of the movie. Thanks - you guys have me wanting to watch the chase scenes from all these movies...one or two I might not have caught before.

In the movie Bullitt it was reported by more than one on set that the Charger had to slow to allow Mustang to keep up.

Gene Hackman flick is probably The French Connection
I think it was Chicago where it took place too
he's a cop trying to get the goods on an Italian (IIRC) Heroin dealer
