I'm leaking gas from the vent line on my 68 RR. I have maybe 3/4 tank of gas. Anyone know what can cause this? Thank you in advance.

Lines are reversed? Vent tube that goes right up to beside the filler neck inside the tank should be hooked to the shock tower vent, the short vent tube in the tank should be hooked to the vent that runs up into the trunk.

If they are hooked up correctly, the trunk vent tube could be plugged.. tank gets hot, pressurizes and pukes fuel that's inside the other tube out at the shock tower.

Mine does it on hot days. If I burp the tank by cycling the cap it will stop. I think it is the capillary effect of the vent.
@Dennis H has a fix for this.

Thank you guys for your help and quick response. I think I have the lines reversed like @dadsbee stated. I'll check for that and a plugged vent line later today.

At least some of the aftermarket fuel tanks have the vent lines reversed inside the tank (mine were). I had to swap the connections between the in tank vent lines and the external vent lines when I installed the new tank. Doesn't look great, but I only have to look at it when I am under the car. Cheers!

I'll have to check for that too. Thanks for the info
