I'm okay if AL L big money sports go away.

Here in Lincoln the University gets whatever they want. Years ago our state fairgrounds, A lot of the Americacruises were held here. The University wanted the property-so they got it. Had to move the State Fair out To Grand Island.
All of our football players the Huskers are arrogant dicks. They can rape someone or get in trouble with the law. They just sweep it under the rug. I love it when our fabulous Huskers lose.

I am getting by just fine without watching any professional sports. I am getting a lot more done out in the garage,and drinking less beer!
 
At the same time you should not be watching any movies or TV shows cus those actors make butt loads of money. Oh and also you should not be listening to any music for the same reasons. You need to stay in your garage and only work on your car having no life. Oh and stay off of your computer otherwise you are supporting the tech companies.
 
If I see them kneeling during the National Anthem,I will write them off too for disrespecting my country! There has not been any really good new music in atleast 5 years or more,nothing but crappy CGI movies,and Motor Trend TV is all I watch anyway.

Even if your listening to old Rolling Stones you don't think that they are still raking in the dough?
Also you shouldn't be driving your cars because your supporting the big money oil companies when you buy fuel for your car.
 
I don't see the Rolling Stones,or the oil companies disrespecting our country on National Television. Even if the Rolling Stones did,they are English,not American. They are being paid big bucks to play games,shut up,play the game they are being payed to play,I am not interested in their political views. I am not against people making money,I am for capitolism,but if they cannot do their job without interjecting their politics into it,then it's my right as an American consumer not to spend my hard earned money on them. I give it to people like you for parts for my Mopars instead!
 
My point is if your going boycott one big money industry you might as well be boycotting ALL the big money industries.
Your supporting big money tech by using one of their browsers at this very moment being on this very site, are you not? If not please tell me how you are doing it.
You support big money oil buy driving your cars or do you make your own fuel?
I get it. There is way to much money in sports but we the people have crated this along with everything else that is big money.
I love a good football or hokey game but could give a rats *** about the athletes and their opinions. Shut the hell up and play the game.
I love a good movie but don't give a rats *** about the actors and their opinions. Shut the hell up and make a movie.
I have a TV in my shop so I can watch a movie or game while working on a car. I can also walk and chew gum at the same time.
 
Also I thought this thread was about the big money in sports and not about a few disrespectful athletes. Not all athletes are disrespectful any more than all E body owners are ********. JK.
 
Like I said,I don't care if people make money,that is how America works,but don't bite the hand that feeds you! Nowhere else in the world would these people get paid what they do for acting,or playing sports. If these people really cared about these political issues,they would put their big money where their mouth is,and go down where they could really make a difference,they just want their time in the spotlight,while another 60 people are gunned down in the streets of Chicago this weekend,they sleep tight in their mansions.

It is not fair to generalize all athletes based on the actions of a few ********. There are a lot of athletes that do a lot for their communities.

I agree that there are some that really do care,and do the right thing with their wealth,but others do it because their accountants say they need to write off some of their income. But until they stop kneeling and disrespecting of the country many fought for and died,so we have our freedom,and they can make huge money acting or playing sports games,I won't support them. Our country is not perfect,and there is plenty of room for improvement,it is still the greatest country in the world bar none,and should be respected as such.
 
I have a problem with pro sports,Hollywood,musicians,politicians.

They tell to you drive a electric car,while they fly in jets and are driven around in limos.

They live behind high walled mansions with armed security and yell defund the police and no border walls

Today's music has no talent or sound anymore.

Hollywood produces nothing more than super hero cartoons anymore.

I'm not boycotting any of the above. They just don't produce anything I want to buy anymore!
