A11 GTX 1969 in Denver not mine

440 4-speed and looks to be a 8 3/4, big minus. Picture of a 4-speed console, but???? I pass at 46K.

But come on Jerry... it at least has the OE wing nuts on the cleaner lid !
There is a old hardware store here that I bought a half dozen for 60 cents a while back. :)

Jerry I'll give ya 5$ for 2

I'm betting the A11 is the SPD Oct 11th.... Not a terrible car, like to actually see the fender tag, and check the body numbers...

Yeah it's got an 8.75 under it... I know of a few A34 coded cars that back in the day after the fun of the 4:10 gear wore off the Dana got swapped for an 8.75 with 3:23's.. Unfortunately it looks like the springs got swapped too..

My buddies A34 coded 69 R/T was swapped, he put a Dana back under it but choose to use a 3:54 gear....

And those seat coverings?. That car needs a whole lot of work to bring $46K imo.

46 grand for a rust free numbers matching GTX with documentation back to original owner or a rust bucket 1969 Road Runner convertible for 31 grand that needs a total restoration
Am I missing something here

Couldn’t agree more. Starting to be a disconnect on some pricing.

People don’t realize what it REALLY costs to restore a car properly with show quality paint and body, and everything else new, etc. Problem is attainability. It’s easy for some to spend 15-30k on a car (that needs 50-60k in work, even though they don’t usually know that until they get it home and see just how rough it is when they have to start digging into it) because that’s what they have saved and are comfortable with. When a fully restored perfect car may be 60 grand and they’d be dollars ahead to just buy that but they just can’t come up with that much for an initial purchase.

I’ll never buy a car that needs paint and body anymore.

This factory N96 4 speed Dana 60 GTX for 46 grand looks pretty good to me!

The car doesn't have a Dana 60, doesn't look like one?

Add the numbers up.
46K car
3500 min. Dana and springs
2000-2500 interior update
1K under hood detailing
Seller states that only the outside was painted. What do the jams and trunk look like? Condition of the chrome and stainless?
Now at 53K for a correct driver.
Going for a #2+ car, how much another 10, 15, or 20, depends on what you can do yourself. If it's on the top of your bucket list, maybe.

It looks like a solid car, but the seats and door cards, ARE KILLING ME !!!!!!(also the fender tag screws look like they from the interior, and that bothers me, LOL)
I am not a GTX guy, but I would rather swap seat covers, then replace floor pans, or 1/4's.
If you had cash, and were there in person, I bet you could work out a MUCH better price.
AFTER you checked the #'s on the eng/ trans and body.
You could at least enjoy that car as you find yourself a Dana, and swap the seat covers and door cards.
If you are looking for a GTX, a B5 Blue air grabber 4 speed car sounds like a good one to own.

seen worse for more $$
but that doesn't mean it's worth the $46k asking price

not as it sits

needs the Dana-60 back under it

ditch the interior "velour" crap

there's an *** for every seat ^^^

I agree 46K is a big ask.. But ya gotta start somewhere & it's hard for the seller to go higher, he can always come down...

Honestly back in the 80's a buddy put black suede leather inserts in his Challenger, same pattern as the vinyl but material that would breathe a little... It made long cruises on hot days a little more bearable... These days I'd prefer a seat that breathes..

Yes it needs a Dana though honestly I wouldn't want 4:10's, most guys who drive their cars wouldn't... Buy a Dana, stuff it in the corner so you have one but leave the 8.75 under it so you can keep the highway gears...

My worthless opinion...
Based on looking up current market values, the car is gonna need $20k to get "right"
and is worth about $50k if dang near concourse.
Tells me it's worth $30k as it sits...$35k tops.
