I have a 74 Road Runner and I only have 10V to the starter relay coil when the key is in start position (which isn't enough to trigger the relay). I traced it back and it looks like this connector is probably my issue. It's burnt up and melted.

I found the ignition switch harness with the connector but now I need the other connector to splice in. Does anyone know where to get this connector and the pins that go with it?

Or is there a harness I should buy?

Or...you could bypass that connector (partially) and just wire the melted wire outside of the harness? The rest of the wires stay as-is.

That's what I have done with the black and red wires. But thats just a bandaid, they just need to be replaced. I'll probably have to just buy a random connector on ebay and splice it in.

If you haven’t already maybe check out the bulkhead connector while you’re under there. Common problem with overheated wiring and corroded connections.

Looks like the connector is already by-passed. Keep looking that's not your problem today.

Yeah, I agree it may not be my immediate problem, but I think it will be in the future. Believe It's the yellow wire that brings power to the starter relay coil and that isn't bypassed yet.
