Were any of these made in 1966, or only 1967? How many?
I was told by the orginal owner who gave me the picture he said and I quote we tried to make look like a GTX and put the trim on it, I can see the GTX emblem on the fender... I don't give two cents about a GTX ,don't like them I did not notice what trim he put on I was only passing the story on , his family owned a Plymouth dealership in Beverton Michigan and his brother and him raced the dealership was called Roman Motors .Where is the GTX trim on that car?
top one here is a GTX, other 2 are RO23 which come with Belvedere II trim. They have the same wheel opening trim as a GTX, most racers took it off. These 2 RO cars still have it on.

The trim running on the top of the body above door handles was standard on a 1967 Belvedere II and not available on any other car.Looks like those Plymouths also have the trim near the tops of the doors.
IIRC that was optional on Bel II's.

Monaco66Coupe, I'd love that scoop for my black 67 RT, if you want to get rid of it. Your mailbox is full.[/QUOTEI
sorry, I keep forgetting to check on the mailbox, there seems to be little storage.
I think the scoop looks funny on the car, but if I sold the scoop, I would have a hood with a big hole in it, as the hood was modified for the six barrel that needed space. I wish you were closer, I would probably sell the whole hood, as I have a perfect spare not altered. But I will think about it some.
