I thought it would be cool to gut it out and make it into a car hauler. Replace the entire floor and figure out how to make a ramp section. The driver seat area seems to sit pretty high up.
 
Pretty is going to have to grow on that in my opinion.
 
I remember a fella named David Weaver from PA had one of those in white in NeHOA back in the early
80's. That thing was a hoot at meets!
Any other NeHOA members remember that thing?
 
"Ark II" (or reasonable facsimile thereof) makes an appearance here every couple of years or so.

I remember and had the R2D2 van, long lost. Vader van was surprising. If presented the opportunity, I would buy them if reasonable. Agree that they are cool (I'm from that era too).
