72 Rallye Charger - opinions please

I honestly think your charger looks great the way it is.

Well my son made the final decision, the car stays the way it is! Going to put the money into a new interior.

Love the yellow and black. Had a yellow U code 72 as well.

Wow, I never realized that the hood was painted wrong! I will definitely correct that on the repaint.

That thing would look good with the whole hood blacked out. JMO

I think it will look great no matter which hood is used. It's your car, do what you want. I have a '71 plain Jane survlvor that I want to put a bulge hood on, among other upgrades, even though it's not "correct" (maybe I'll buy that R/T hood instead!) No need for name calling guys, he asked for our opinion, we gave it and he made his own mind up. There's room for ALL in this hobby, the purists, the customizers, and everyone in between

I've been restoring a numbers matching 72 Charger 440 for the last few years. I have a chance to buy a 71 R/T hood at a reasonable price. Would you leave the original bulge hood or buy the 71 R/T hood? I'm doing a color change, exterior and interior, so its not 100% original.

2 ways of doing this 1. You do what you like and tell yourself this is how I want my cool charger to be your own vision no one will really know til you tell them about the changes 2. If you care about stock materials. The bulge isn’t bad

but my opinion it look awesome with it

Lot's of guys make all kinds of changes for who knows what purpose. It's just fine just as it is. Why would you change it?

Not upset at all just responding to jerk wad comments in kind. There is always someone who is positive that what they like/believe is the only acceptable course of action and they are always the ones who come out swinging with stupid crap. It would take a lot more than written words on a forum to get me upset, this is just entertainment :)
A tool in every shed. Not all equally as sharp as the next...
