70 Charger rust free fenders & hood "What If ?"

I thought that there may be some statute or regulation that requires a site to keep certain content separate from other topics.

My underlying point is one that has hit close to home so I understand the feeling.
There are times where people are not sure of which direction they want to go and they are looking for a gentle nudge to help them decide.
Yes, there are those that DO post stuff like this and are casually testing the waters to see if someone will buy. I support the decision to shut those threads down because the OP is being dishonest about his intentions.
There are also instances where people are honest and just unsure about what to do.
Maybe it is hard for the moderators to determine which is which so they often just dump the thread.
The only thing that Moparts ever did right was to have their WIW forum. What It's Worth. It is a forum specifically for these situations.

Well if I see T&A in the General Forum, I'll move it but 'adult content' can be taken lots of ways by many. Some feel a thong and a string top that barely covers the nipples is adult content and imo, that shouldn't be in the General Forum either but then you have the ones that feel hard core **** is ok. Sometimes we have to hash it over in the mod's forum because we don't want to censor stuff that's ok so yeah, it's not always easy to do this job. And yeah, the owner doesn't want the Google 'bots' to send people here because of sexual content and that's why the Blue Forum exists. That area doesn't allow bots to pull data from what I was told.
 
I personally have tons of spare parts and I guess at this point in life it’s easier to sell them and let the insurance companies find replacements if needed… Just my opinion…
 
I have a bunch of take off parts, for my current car
(68 RR HT Decore Package)
they will go with my car, the car they came off of, when or if I ever sell it,
before I'm worm dirt...

Most people won't (or want to) pay the exorbitant shipping costs anyway
or you get 200+ stupid questions, after covering it head to toe
or even after posting 200+ detailed photos...
You walk them thru the whole project/s, spend a shitload of time dealing with it...
You get them shipping quotes & they say;
"they will 110% buy them, hold them for them",
after months of back & forth...
Then they will back out, after it's all crated up... :BangHead:
Then they buy it from someone else, or buy from a supplier,
for free shipping & a warrantee...
ask me how I know... :blah:

Then we have the professionals parts posters here (all they ever post is parts for sale)
here in the classified, that literally run a under the table/cash business off of FBBO...

I guess it's different for a 70 Charger...

Imagine if you will......reading the death notices in your local newspaper.....and some clown decided to insert car parts for sale, and cleaning services in between the notices. Then some rug doctor products along with Vacation Cruise offers...... see how messed up that would be.

If you guys want a messed up forum, then you should probably join up somewhere else.....good luck with that. :thumbsup:

I’m sure if you check n see how long the op has been around n that he is a top seller on here he knows the difference. Just the usual whiners complaining I guess
 
Hold on to them if your keeping the car. I posted a WTB thread and called everywhere from west coast to east coast for a 70 fender. Found a pair here for $5000 and thats it. Everyone that has spares are not selling then,even the guys with more then 2 sets. JMO

Yup and my brother spent at least that much having his fenders and hood fixed cuz we didn't find any at the time

I have been called a whoreder myself! My wife used to put on that horders show whenever we watch television. I think she was trying to tell me something?
 
It all started when my wife came home early from work one night and caught me......No I wasn't wearing her clothes like the rest of you guys do! She caught me red handed with a spray can in my hand painting a set of 15x7 rallye wheels in the kitchen,because it was too cold outside to paint them in the garage!
