Thanks a lot for that! I actually sketched up a schematic last week based on what I knew and deduced. (I'm retired Mech Eng and over the years worked on some hydraulic systems)
If my actuators operate and the switch parts are usable, I should be able to get them working after fixing the broken tab on the left HL door. I dropped the dash bezel enough last week to see the switch is intact.
THAT DIAGRAM SHOULD BE A STICKY IN THE 68-70 CHARGER FORUM.

Does the original vacuum canister have a check valve?

The original canister had a check valve inside the can. Mine failed so I added one inline between the line and can.

Makes sense. Otherwise the system would go to atmosphere with the engine off.
