GLSSA opener. Car ran great. Driver was better than last year when we won the 2nd race of the weekend. Bottom line? Won 1 rd in 2 days of racing, Try again in St Louis in 3 weeks. Lost rd 2 on Saturday by .018. Little late my .042 to his .026. Lost 1st rd today my .031 9.023 on a 9.02 to his .012 11.445 on a 11.44.

Only you would be disappointed with that outing, Doug...lol. Looking at 60 foot, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile numbers that were almost identical is something I, as well as most other racers I've known in my over 35 years of racing, would have killed for. Amazing consistency. You better start your engineering for your new chute mount since you're flirting with the 150MPH number!
Since you're the oldest part of your operation it stands to reason that it might take a little longer for you to fall into line. It'll happen. It took a turbocharged ZX-14 to make me realize my reactions weren't what they used to be.
You've got a huge fan base here and we have confidence that you will not just win races, but will dominate this season.
"Keep the rubber side down, buddy".

Seems like you did okay to me. Those numbers indicate to me that you were bracket racing. Is that the case?
I dam near fell off bike on Friday night. Stuff happens.
