Must be a Southern thing. I first saw it when visiting my brother-in-law in Tifton, Georgia, about 30 years ago.And my dad always got salted peanuts and dropped them in.
A guy I worked with had one of those 750 Triples. Would 1970 be about the vintage? I think I had my '69 Super Bee at the time. He and it were completely nuts. I think it was one of the fastest bikes of its time. And my Insane buddy had a Kawasaki H2 750 2 stroke triple.
I have never experienced that much speed at the time. It would lay down the rubber road at any speed.

Don't remember the exact year but they made them from 71-75 and they called them the widow maker because the handling and the brakes were terrible.A guy I worked with had one of those 750 Triples.
