73-74 RoadRunner hoods

both are "Beep Beep" horns. I guess its possible someone added the one on the passenger side and since the wiring harness is the same for Satellite, which used dual horns, that may make sense.

So that's why I have squirters on the hood and the wipers.
I've been thinking about setting up a secondary washer syatem and pointing the hood nozzles way high so they shoot over the car and splash tailgaters :icon_fU:

thanks funnay!

someone else mentioned two beep beep horns that had been adjusted so one had a higher and other had a lower note

can we get an mp3 or vid to hear your dual horns?

Unfortunately, my car is still under construction, but i hope to have it back together this summer. All i know is that having two horns, its loud as hell, and actually have scared some people when i honked it! LOL

74 hood ??

Yes, 73's have canister, here are a couple of shots of mine before i took it all apart. The AC line is on top of it and none of the vent lines are connected.

Did someone say they are looking for a 74 hood? I have one.

Does it have scoops ?

Do you still have it ??

:eusa_clap:

gottapic?

Mike..

Just to throw a curve-ball into this discussion, why does my 74 RR have the cut-out, in the under-hood re-inforcement, that an air-grabber from 71-2 would have?

That little box under the hood keeps you from starting the car when seatbelts not engaged. I bypassed it

Yeap, I know, is a 12 years old thread, but was recently mentioned and I clicked the link, so need to say… this is incorrect. This button is to BYPASS temporally the starting interlock system, is NOT the culprit or the main box of the interlock system. The brain of the interlock system is located down the dash, in between ashtray and glove box… ALTHOUGH is correct you can jump out the full starting interlock system at the plug of this button device, jumping both yellow wires arriving to this device

I got my interior panels for free from a 73 Satellite for my 74 RR. I had to find belt retractor panels separate, then cut the panels for them to fit like the 2 piece 74s. They also have the rear window handle holes. I would like to get rear Satty windows to roll down in it the RR.

The trunk hump is for the reservoir on the 74 tank top. It makes a 74 tank painful to pay for compared to earlier.

I have everything for the roll down windows, took them out of a Satellite in a junk yard. I was thinking of putting them in my car but changed my mind. If your local to Indiana we could make a deal.
