used to go trout/walleye fishing in Michigan's upper peninsula a lot. One year on opening day we were fishing on lake Gogebic for walleye, 34 degrees and rain. next day went brook trout fishing was 82 and sunny, absolutely Beautifull out. third day the black flies hatched, and they were very hungry, had the right protection thank god, still got bit a few times, but as they say if the bugs are biting so are the fish we cleaned up in a few hours.
