I smell like Ben Gay

After a lifetime of being under truck hoods I should look like Schwarzenegger under the boiler lol. But probably not

I feel for you. Yesterday I replaced a 36" prehung door in my shop by myself including going to Homer depot and getting it. It took about 3 hours to R & R the door. Then mowed the estate, weedwacked, took a dip in the pool.
Took a shower and twisted my back drying my hair. :cursin:
You know you're old when .......

The best way to prevent a back injury is to have excellent core strength.

I've dealt with some sort of pain most of my life and didn't realize it was RA. A couple of days after doing something repetitive or strenuous I would wonder why I'm hurting. Had to think back a day or two to remember what I did.

Before I was diagnosed with RA my go to was Aleve. Now I'm on prescription meds but I can remember how well it worked for pain. Hot showers help also.

As we prepare to downsize out of our home, my wife dug up a family photo taken in summer 1983, the month I bought Baby Blue for the first time. Her kid sister exclaimed, gosh you two used to look good! The car aged backwards as stuff got replaced, but my wife and I aged like humans. We've both lost two inches of height. I've lost 20 pounds of muscle mass, started using mobility aids three years ago. Wife lost sight in one eye, but still maintains the same body weight.

Our primary care doctor tells us we're in great shape for our age (71, and 72.) We both strive to stay active, both of us are life long weight trainers, but time works against the best efforts.
