What's it Worth Looking to buy this Super Bee... would appreciate input.

In the use of the finest imported corrugated board and gorilla grade tape on the shroud. LOL
If I’m not mistaken, that stuff's better than Corinthian leather? :)

Hell yea. I'm an old phone guy and almost anything can be fixed with duct tape and cross connect wire :)

Well alrighty then.

The undercarriage and body are super nice. A bit of adjustment and tinkering is needed but it’s numbers matching and runs and drives great. Needs a suspension rebuild and I’m going to do a bearing job on the rear emd but otherwise, mainly little interior things. The wheels are a little too bling for my taste so I’ve put them up for sale and am going for a more OEM look.

Looks like a very nice and solid car, congrats. And I 100% agree with replacing those wheels.

It's 2025 and a VW shows up in the background!

Congratulations to you again on the Super Bee!

Thanks, All. To be honest, we probably paid a little too much for it, but due to the fact that the undercarriage, body, and frame were pretty damn good, and the fact that I didn’t think I would find another one in this good shape, cosmetically,I can do the rest of it myself. Plus, it’s numbers matching, it runs super strong And just needs some TLC over the next few months to be a “drive anywhere” car. That’s what we’re going for. And surprise… It already has electronic ignition. Some kind of magnetic pick up inside the not factory distributor at least I don’t think it’s factory because it does not have the normal looking points cam lobes.

Yeah, man! That VW bus in the background is what we have been enjoying for the last 10 years. After I rebuilt the engine, we were able to take it pretty much anywhere. Since then, we’ve built the interior to how we like it with free, scrap wood and Low budget labor. The wife unit did all the upholstery, etc., while I did the mechanical stuff. We will be selling that to offset the car, but it was super fun while it lasted. It drives really nice, cruises at 65 to 70, will blast up to 80 to get out of the way and never overheats. It has about double the horsepower from the factory so it kind of surprises a lot of people on the freeway :)

Thanks again,
Mikey
