When I bought my 1966 Coronet 2-door sedan, all the windshield trim was off the car.
Does this piece install partly under rear view mirror?
Picture of how it looks installed would be great!
Thanks

Connects the two A pillar pieces at the top of the windshield.

The rear view mirror goes behind that trim, the 3 attaching screws go through the headliner.

there are 5 clips on top rail and two on the sides. A-pillar trim screws into the two side clips and that screws into the 5 on top rail in front of rear view mirror .

So I'm missing the 5 clips?
Do they look like this A-Pillar clip? THANKS

yes . there are 5 square holes on the top rail . that's where the clips go .
Thanks for all your help!
Are the 5 holes under the headliner, so not obvious when I look up at the rail or feel along it?

Circular mounting holes for clip are at vertical front edge of roof

Clips are 1.5" wide at roof side, 1.375" wide at trim side, .75" from edge of trim to angle

Do not know if compatible with later models, 2 pictures below from @dadsbee. Superbee is 1968 and later. Looks close but not exactly the same.
Thanks Dadsbee for posting the only other interior upper windshield trim clips I can find on FBBO!!!

*Feel for holes behind headliner, then thin extendable razor blade tool to cut a + sign through the headliner at each of the 5 roof holes for the clips.
*Orange handle pliers to clamp the 2 mounting tabs together slightly so they would fit in the circular holes at the front of the roof.
*Sometimes the 2 mounting tabs needed to be crimped together a little more to fit into the hole. Sometimes it helped to rotate the clip against the front of the roof to get the tabs to drop into the hole.
*Once the 2 tabs slid into the hole and the back of the clip was flat against the front of the roof, I used needle nose pliers to reach over the front horizontal portion of the clip and clamp the 2 tabs together, which extended the mounting tabs apart inside the hole. This clamps the clip in the hole.
*Because of the angle required to squeeze those 2 tabs together so the mounting tabs move apart, I do not think this job could be done with the windshield in place.
