My take on custom plug wire installation.

I fabbed the center of engine bracket and fastened the 5&7 wires to the boss on the intake. I really like the MSD wire clips.

I have used them and really like them. I also have the MSD wire crimper. I always buy my wires as cut to fit. Never found any so called fitted wires that I liked.
 
I have used maaaaaaaaany of the MSD cut-to-length kits. If you measure the reqd lead length carefully, you can end up with one or two left/over spare leads.
A word of warning: these kits use enamel covered copper wire; the enamel is an insulator. It is a good idea to scrape off the enamel to show bare copper to ensure a good connection. On the last set I used, on one lead, the pre-assembled spark plug end was high resistance because of this. So always check the resistance of the finished lead.
