Today I called Mark Williams Enterprise and bought an aluminum Dana 60, 40-spline spool for my AMC Hornet ONPS project.

For two days I lamented about buying the Strange Engineering spool because it's $200 cheaper, but it's not a Mark Williams product.

The price of the spool was low cost compared to what the axles are going to cost for this project.

I finally decided I wasn't going to live forever and I can't take the money with me so I treated myself.

Nothing as zippy as yours. Picked up a pair of valve cover grommets at the parts store, for my 67 wagon and its upcoming freshened 440, while I was there getting supplies for the 30 Ford/Chevy hybrid I'm working on.

I got me a wood grant steering wheel, always wanted a wood wheel. It'll go on my 67 Plymouth.

I talked to Jamie at Mega Parts yesterday. I will be picking up some sill moldings at a car show this Sunday. It saves on the shipping and they won't be all bent up.

Ordered a new rear bumper for the 66 Satelitte. Should make the car look better.
It will. I got mine rechromed on my 66 Dart and it really made a difference. You will smile everytime you walk by.

I did order a balancer, bolt pack and key from 440. It's being drop shipped to the machinist in Fresno. Also waiting for the correct flex plate, first one sent from Mancini was mis tagged, to show. Once I verify it's correct, I'll ship that to Fresno. Need those items for when he does the balance job. My old balancer had the elastomer pooching out.

Nothing Mopar, $500 for a tuner to add 20HP to my bike and a 70-300 lens for the camera. No money left for Dodge parts!

Nothing all that special, Accel Shorty header plugs
some Hei style wires, 180* & 45* grey boots/wires low resistance 40ohm per/ft
& matching Hei cap/rotor, Summit Racing, used a bunch of Summit Bucks I had
didn't pay much out of pocket...

I need to get on my headers, just not that into it right now

I'm thinking (sort of anyway) about going to a single 4bbl for a while
either a tricked out (some sort of Holley style) flowed
do a 850 maybe (like 1,000cfm) or 950 tricked out,
(I'd like to find a good old 950 3 bbl)
I'll probably get an Edelbrock RPM Intake (Low deck) 4150 square bore
(will need to gasket match at a min.) & a phenolic tapered 4 port or open 1" spacer

Our gas here is ****, too much ethanol, & my car sits too much of late too
causing issues with the needles & seats or just flat out
bad oxidation/white crystalized corrosion in all 3 the 6bbl bowls
it's not the filters, they catch the crap, it the stuff sitting in the fuel bowls
I even shut off my electric pump & run it on the center carb fuel levels down,
so it doesn't have as much
it's only been a couple months since I changed the (all 3 new) needles & seats too...

seems like an annual deal now or even more often

Just sort of want something different for a while maybe...

It's another $1,000 at min for all the stuff I want,
& labor to do the port work/polishing (flowing) on both

Yup, our Gasoline is horrible.... But our Diesel is even worse... Currently i'm helping my farmer buddy with seven diesel powered pieces of farm equipment... All of the fuel systems have had to come apart & get flushed, injection pumps, injectors, fuel tanks, fuel pumps & lines.... All of it.... First one we sent the injector pump out... But with seven units down we decided to try doing one pump ourselves.... Youtube to the rescue.. We've got all the pumps & injectors back together, six machines are running... Waiting on the pump that got sent out to the professionals...

I need (or want) to buy new wheels (maybe get new wheels & store these in the shed)
& good snow/mud tires for my 99 Dakota SLT 4x4
they are still a lot of tread, even after 42k miles
Toyo Open Country Hybrids A/T-M/T, great tires
32"x11.5"/15r

I'm thinking about going to 16x8" wheels & 285/75/16r tires A/T
a tad taller & narrower, like an 1" on both
the ones (current 32x11.5/15s) on my truck are '25 years old now',
it does sit in the garage when not driven
but it's a worrisome deal having cases that old
even if they don't show any sings of cracking or rot, no weird wear at all
seems like such a waste 'but'
$300 to $330 each (when not on sale) there abouts
& mounting & balancing too $1,600 for 4 tires
(I really want a spare too, so another $300+ the wheel if I get new ones)
with wheels I like $2,300-ish 'on a deal' (w/register rings & lug-nuts)
if I don't do the spare too,
it's/that's another almost $500+
probably do all new Bilstein N2O shocks when I do it also, another $400 to $500

Had 2 cab corners for a 71 c10 come in. And the front to back fuel line for the 70 coronet. Can't wait to have the coronet on the road

Amsoil, Gibbs and Sta Bil have products to put in the tank for our wonderful gas. Stops the "Phase Separation".

Ordered a Rough Country 4'' suspension lift for my 76 PW that I am finally getting around to working on. Have to drop the transfer case and trans. anyway to go through so figured I would do it all at once.

Going to the Bay Area tomorrow and pick up a used Safety Clean unit. The actual solvent version. Been needing one for quite awhile. Turns out the seller is also an FBBO member. We'll meet.
