Hi guys, couldn’t find much info here on restoring faded emblems so I’m going to share what I did to my super bee emblems on the front grill and trunk. First step was remove old emblem and then remove old paint. You can use spray on paint stripper, sand paper, small files and dental pics to get into all the small places.
Then clean and lightly scotch brite the surfaces you’re going to paint.
Then paint away. I found the best paint to use is oil based paint pens. You’re going to need fine and extra fine points of your desired color. Then paint away. It was pretty easy and came out pretty decent. Here’s some before and after pics

That looks good but in the future you should try putting paint in a syringe... You can float it into all the tight spots & fill the whole area beautifully...

If you are going to try this a 23 ga needle is perfect....

Finding paint pens, especially non-water based is becoming increasingly difficult.
