I’ve been out and about the last two days Friday I went to a little cruise show and then today I just went to a cars and airplane show just out and about.

You've shared this before...
very cool. I had a regular '83, champagne, 305 ... served its purpose problem free. Always loved the SS. Would be fun to find one.
It was a father, son project and was a fun car to build. They were cheap and plentiful at the time, 1998. It started life as a 305, TH-200-4R. I went with a 383 stroker, at over 502 HP, Coan extreme 350 turbo, Gear vendors overdrive and a Currie 12 bolt. Unlike my Coronet, which is going to get a new Heidts front suspension in October, parts could be found everywhere.

I was at our local Hines Cruise Park cruise yesterday with my red Charger. Google it. It is quite the event. Well over 10,000 cars they claim every year. I even made it in someone's YouTube video.

Yesterday I drove the car to church which I usually do if there isn't a chance of storms. It was such a nice day out I filled up with gas and a few snacks and went for a nice cruise.
Was funny when I was backing the car out of the garage I saw a young couple walking past my driveway. I let the car idle to warm up while I got out to close the garage door. Got back in car to leave and the same couple had reappeared across the street to watch me back out and leave. They were all smiles and waved to me.

10,000 cars That's gotta be at least 2 1/2 miles of cars single file. Maybe 2 or 3 times that with the accordion spacing and traffic ebbs and flows. Wow !

I'd like to see a drone or helicopter view of that.

Dream Cruise the weekend before? Is the Hines Drive deal always the weekend after?

Maybe make a week of it next year…

Like I mentioned. Google it. Yes, it is like 8 miles (X2 traffic going both ways) of the 18 miles of the park that is blocked off for only vehicles 25 years old or older.

Yes, it is usually the weekend after the Woodward Dream cruise. Way better than the Dream cruise. You can actually somewhat cruise sometimes. The great thing about it is it is all classic, vintage, exotic type vehicles only. None of all of the daily drivers mixed in, causing the world's largest voluntary traffic jam like Woodward......

Yeah. Friends in the metro Detroit area usually go out on the Wednesday and Thursday evenings before the DC weekend.

I usually go out of Woodward most of the week before the DC as well. By Wednesday it is a parking lot already.
