What Part/s Did You Buy Today for Your Hobby or Project ???

Picked up 2 sets of real nice 68 charger doors...a pair of absolutely clean 70 sport satellite fenders...and a nos 4-door quarter, possibly for 70 Plymouth. Don't really need any of it...just add it to the hord.

Got my tank yesterday. Since there was an Industrial Metal Supply on the way back, scored a piece of 18ga and 11ga cold rolled for future projects.
Budnicks, are the any Indian reservations around? The reason I ask is that at many of them, they don't have the CARB additive package in the fuel. Still have Ethanol though. My friend in Vegas hauls fuel from over by Nellis to the Rez's in Cali. Might help. I know Amsoil has additives for both short and long term storage, think Sta-Bil does too. Might help to move the rides periodically to circulate/shake up the fuels.

Yeah 'sort of' not a reservation to say, but a village
not sure they go by that there, I will check though :thankyou:

my dad says; "they don't have an actual reservation here"
I had no clue, he's been up here, since 1980

For sure, I need to drive my RR more too
seems every time I go to drive it a needle & seat are stuck or fuel overflowing etc.
it's getting old
nothing I can't handle, just getting really tired of it all
I've been busy of late with dad's (88) health & DR's appt.s etc.
neglecting my stuff, hard to get motivated "sort of"

after I do what ever I may decide,
I may start buying race fuel again, in a drum etc. & doing a mix
I may go to the airport down in Columbia 30+miles, down the hill
& get some avgas too
I know people (neighbor Shea, 22), otherwise that can get me a couple 5 gal jugs of it
every so often & do a blend at a min.
that work there (neighbor's son) 'sort of',
well he teaches flying lessons (for CalFire applicants) privately there
I'm sure he has a fuel-pass (card) they are really strict there...

Thanks

I have a NOS left tail light bezel for my Satellite. Have had it for 30+years, been looking for a right hand bezel. Have seen one with a lens but the price was $535 to much for me! Today I was on ebay, I seldom check it. I was on there because they turned on email notification for parts and I was turning them off. I get to my 1966 tail bezel search and right on top is an NOS right hand bezel at a reasonable price. Score! By the way they didn't notify me.

The correct, for cast crank, flex plate came in yesterday from Mancini. I sent it off to Fresno for the machinist to have when its balance time.

After struggling with trying to make some braided line and fittings join up (used to do this fairly easily, apparently lost the talent) bought a koul tool for assembly ease...... and a few fittings, some braided line, and a bracket for a fuel regulator mount to a carb, that I could have made in ten minutes when I was working. Oh well.
Since mounting the regulator on the firewall is nhra illegal, and I don't have inner fenderwells, had to come up with something else.

Yup, our Gasoline is horrible.... But our Diesel is even worse... Currently i'm helping my farmer buddy with seven diesel powered pieces of farm equipment... All of the fuel systems have had to come apart & get flushed, injection pumps, injectors, fuel tanks, fuel pumps & lines.... All of it.... First one we sent the injector pump out... But with seven units down we decided to try doing one pump ourselves.... Youtube to the rescue.. We've got all the pumps & injectors back together, six machines are running... Waiting on the pump that got sent out to the professionals...
I never buy diesel in california if I can help it. It may be crap,... but it's EXPENSIVE crap. I buy as much diesel as I can in Arizona, before my Cali trips.

I have an Indian casino nearby here in AZ, with a gas station and smoke shop, but it's across the river in Nevada, and gas/diesel prices are around 75 cents/gal higher than on my side. It has alky in it too.
But the Nevada gas is still at least a buck cheaper than the California side of the river!
