As I've been working my way through my 68 Dodge Coronet 500, I've run into the need for advice. This is one of those times.

1. Is the front support supposed to have a curve to it as mine does?
2. At the bottom of the front door frame is a small opening (it's the same on both sides). Is this for drainage from the cowl?

Thanks!

YY1 is correct.
1. You’ll need to “pull” the lower part of your front radiator support downwards
2. Yes & there are several of those little holes along that seam if you look along the length of the car. Now is a good time to clean those holes out. They get filled with sand & debris

Thanks! I couldn't bend it so I replaced it....

Well, I'm going to continue this thread because I have three MORE questions:

1) Where does the connecting bracket fasten to the frame crossmember? Is it exactly centered? The other pieces (see below) make me think it's a bit offset. Can someone measure theirs and let me know the measurements?
2) Am I missing a part (besides the splash/air shield)? The FSM refers to a lower cross bar but it looks nothing like what I have. I can see that it connects to the lock vertical support via the lower brace, but....
3) I can see where the lock vertical support connects to the connecting bracket (see #1 above), but does the upper cross bar connect to anything (I imagine the fender, but those are off presently.)

If anyone has pictures, that would answer a ton of questions. Thanks!
