Hi I have a 1969 Road runner Coupe (Post) and in need of rear interior panels. Are they the same as Hardtop panels? I believe the door panels interchange, but the 'post' thing has me wondering. Thanks! PS:
it's a red road Runner and may want to change the interior to red with black dash and carpet. It needs seat covers anyway and has no door panels. I like red! Thanks! Marc. anyone have any FJM spindles with caliper brackets? No Scammers.

Panels are identical... just no crank hole in the rears. Panels come, or should come, without the rears crank hole punched out. Back of panel has the holes prepunched and luckily you won't have to do so.

Panel install is fully covered in my Super Bee restoration thread.

Yeah, about those panels ... people are failing to mention that there were different patterns depending on the trim level of the car. Cheapo bench seat coupes got pretty plain panels. If you ordered a trim level or bucket seats or hardtop model, you got different panels.

Here's my car with original black (bench seat) interior. I swapped in bucket seats and rear seats many years ago but kept the original door panels. The upper doors were also originally black but when I had the car repainted (originally Y2 yellow) I had them do the doors in body colour - figured if I didn't like it I'd just shoot 'em black. I like it as is. I thought about a red interior but I think that would be too much. Just my opinion !!

FWIW, I've been to MANY swap meets and have come across virtually ZERO panels like mine - infact, the only one I ever found is a left rear and I bought it as a spare.

Talking to the owners of this beauty, I said I've never seen a backseat with the Plymouth symbol in the middle. They looked at me funny.

Next day they reported back. They went and looked at all the '70s, anything with a bench, plain back seat, buckets got the Plymouth.

Makes sense, front bench is completely different material.
