What's it Worth 65 Sport Fury 426 Max Wedge

I'm still at " are they MW heads or not!?" .. ( which would require observation probably)

These are a 750hp 440 version, 286s 413heads :D

A real 67 440 Charger? Out of 660, not alot left to choose from. Just a hair more than the daytonas
I’m aware. But a 383 would be fine too. I’ve looked at all the 67 Chargers I could find currently listed and haven’t seen anything yet.
Agreed, but from what I'm gathering he wants what he wants, not what someone else cares about the value of some other car. I applaud him for that.
My point about the Charger is they are hard to find. No more, no less.
440s are hard to find
Just for laughs I found a couple 67s

I agree. The thing that made the car desirable was the motor. If it’s a 440 with an aftermarket cross ram and not max wedge heads than what’s the point. I am leaning towards passing on this one, unless I can find someone to go look at it for me.

Another thing I'm thinking about is that you mentioned that this is not a body style you are really in to. So, you go ahead and buy this car and then stumble across something that you really like. Now you would want to sell this car, and imo, it will not be an easy sell for anything over 25K with being not the most desirable year and its custom paint scheme. And yes, I strongly agree with everyone else that if you are seriously considering this car, you need to inspect it in person.

$25k is laughable. Pretty much everything that’s decent is $35-$40k and up. Especially when you see rusty piles of crap for sale at $25k every week. That’s a really nice car, love the color scheme. Any car you buy already done will need some changes to fit your taste. Some guys would spend $25k just having the motor and trans built for their own rusty pile of crap.

These cars are a hard sell in my opinion. This one in my IMHO makes it even harder. Personally I hate the paint job. And what's up with the stretched wheel well? I personally hate that. Am I wrong on the wheel well opening?

Personally $25k would be my max if I liked the car.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! The other one is buyer beware , put your hands on it, look at the underside and in the nooks and crannies... let it tell you what it is. Pay what you feel good with if it doesn’t happen it wasn’t meant to be... just don’t hang yourself it’s like all the resto mods folks spend hundreds of thousands on and they think they are worth it when they get tired of it and they find out it’s a mess and not worth much.

Did you see the number of trophies? It gets a trophy every time it goes to a show. That tells me the paint and chrome are right.
Dan, A lot of the trophies I get are because I'm the only Mopar at the show... Just saying. Looks like a nice car.

That being said..... I'm critical of whether they are MW heads or not..
There's a pic of a 4bbl intake
They talk about running a tunnel ram
The crossram is a mopar performance piece.
Just leans towards the likelihood that they are stock ports..
Ask to see the receipt for the heads that he currently has on the car. Then you'll at least know if they and the intake are max wedge port size...Remember, once the money changes hands on a used car, all the promises made by the seller are moot. (Quoting Judge Judy) lol...

You will sell that car easily. 65’s sell well these days, c-body or not. I saw somebody comment 14k. That car has over that in it. You could get 30k for that car all day long, probably more with time. Looks very well built.
