Did it sell at Moparty?

No have a few people interested but as of now it’s still forsale.

Where was the extra tag found? Cool

There is 8 pistons and no it’s never been hurt. My buddy bought it and drove it for years. This engine has not been hurt ever.

Any idea why he tore the engine down? Standard bore still?

Yes the original owner was going to replace the rings and then set it to the side and started having Health issues. Never got back to it. I’m not sure why he pulled the crank but it’s all the original parts the engine.

I'll be upfront , I am not a player for the car so feel free to delete my comments or not.
My 2cents - It Be a killer looking car done. But $42k might be a tad high. Sadly the 1st gen cars dont pull the money the later ones do. And seems the market has cooled slightly from a year or 2 ago
But, I am kinda curious what it would actually sell for .

I know of a near twin to this car, 1966 Coronet 500, hemi , red with white interior . Only was much farther along in the restoration process and I think it sold in the upper $60s price range last year

Kind of hard to see any details in the photos , So Is the body rusty ?
Are the stock exhaust manifolds included ? is it the correct carbs ?

I see the rear leaf spring have been moved into the frame rails.
So I assume maybe a drag car at one time ? Any other mods done underneath ?

There is a turn key driver 426 hemi automatic 66 Coronet in rush city Minnesota. Rock solid creame in color black top. Not a show car but it does look good for 32k. And I own a 67 coronet r/t and would be happy to see anything over 20k in this market.
