I got 69 rr 4spd car but no 4spd .Will any a833 work
I understand I need pedals and brackets and shifter for b body

Not all…kinda. The tail shafts are different (which can be swapped), but it’s much easier to find a b-body A833. The pre-70 (?) A833’s use a different transmission crossmember….but any b-body A833 will fit with the appropriate cross member

Depending on the plans for your car and since it sounds like you need a complete manual setup, you should consider a 5 or 6 speed transmission.

The shifter mount for the B body is in a different spot on the tail shaft than the A body.

There are also 18 spline (hemi) 4 speeds along with 23 spline 4 speeds for the b bodies. Biggest obvious difference is the clutch you’re using to make sure the spline count matches.

There are also differences in the front input shaft bearing retainer diameters. You need to make sure to match with the bellhousing you’re using.

As mentioned, it’s probably the easiest to find a b body 4 speed if you’re trying to use factory parts.

You need the long tail shaft version. Which is mostly what I see on marketplace. Also 23 spline is common.
Next. Input bearing retainer size to match to hole in the bell housing
4.81" dia. - 68 and newer big block
5.125" - truck
4.35" - everything else. Brewer's makes an input to mate the smaller to a 4.81 bell housing.
70 and newer uses the auto cross member.
70 and later should have shifted mounts for both b and e bodies
First gear was 2.65 up to 70 then changed to 2.4? I believe.
Overdrive came out in 74 with a 3.09 first and .73/.71 fourth. 74 had cast iron case which changed to aluminum.
If your not aware. 68/69 bell housings would be cast iron with the 143 flywheel and 11 inch clutch
70 up was aluminum with a 130 flywheel.
