hello.
I have a 440 RR that I inherited from my brother who can no longer work on it.
It still needs work, but the torch has been passed to me.
440, 4bbl, 4spd, large cam, positraction, traction bars, with a Mako paint job…

Welcome aboard from Ohio.

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras
looks like a decent start, good luck

Welcome from Alabama, cool RR. Mako was who my brother used for many paint jobs. He did it a little differently. He did all the body work and masking, trailered the car to them with his desired paint. They sprayed it and he picked it up when dry. He told me one time that any painter that could spray their crappy paint would be proud to spray good paint. He had several Mustangs that won paint awards at shows.

Welcome and congrats on exciting project. unfortunate about your brother though. I used a local Maaco for years to spray my cars. Figured someone who sprayed all day would know how to lay down paint. Always made a point to sneak him some cash before he started.

My first 68 Charger was sprayed by Maaco, orange. I did the prep work for the most part. It wasn't perfect, but it felt like top shelf for a high schooler.

Welcome from your western neighbor in Northeast Los Angeles. Any day a 69 B-Body lands in your lap is a great day. I hope your brother is okay and wish you the best on your project.
