Where did you and your car go today

Well, wasn’t sure if I was going to a car show or work today. They asked if I could work , I don’t really care for car shows anyway

Last leg of out journey today leaving at 7am. Driving 6 hours with only gas stops. I didn’t want to have to rush home but work went to **** while I was gone. I need to get to work Monday and take care of some emergency calls.
 
Drove the old Ranchero today more than it has been driven since before the Covid lockdown. It all started with having a junk man take the snug top shell off it on Friday, which turned into then washing it, which today turned into taking my neighbor for a drive since he always says it’s the one car in the collection he hasn’t had a ride in.
Then I needed gutters from Lowe’s which I intended to use the new truck for but decided why not, the Ranchero actually has a longer bed after all.

You are correct, and I felt bad about junking it. I've tried to give it away a bunch of times on the ranchero forum and CL. No interest but got some weirdos from CL so at that point I gave up. These attempts were made over a period of years.
It actually came with my first Ranchero over 10 years ago, so I held on to it for a long time because of rarity, not because I liked it.
Here is a pic of it, it was too low and squatty to be practical. It also created a huge blindspot.
