Would have been a good looking car in OE colors

Im gonna watch this . Im curious if all the changes helps it,,,,,,or hurts it

ps, and its a July 66 SBD . thats darn late

Yeah, I think a dark green with gold interior 4-speed would be stunning with today’s paint technology.

Yeah, late - 7/19. Mine is 7/20! The fender tag is a close match to mine.
The 4-speed to TF conversion hurts it.

Used to be local car for years.

Owner had a leg injury and couldn’t drive the 4 SPD.

It’s local cruise-in nice. Not super detailed. Color change, trans change, not original motor.

Been for sale for a while. Owner is very “proud” of it. Look at the trophy hound list… Chevy shows, cruise nights… he never took it to Mopar shows cause it wouldn’t place and be the “only Hemi car” there.

Topped out at $49,500 and below the reserve. Considering the conversion from 4-speed to auto, complete color change, and crate motor substitution which would all take away from its value, that may not be a long ways off of what it should sell for and maybe 2-3,000 more could buy it. Or the owner could just be believing it’s more than it is.

It ended about where I felt it would

IMO the color change MAY have helped it,,, to some buyers anyway !
But IMO the change from 4spd to auto was the downfall
