17-Year-Old Trick-Or-Treater Dresses Up As 17-Year-Old Wearing A Hoodie

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Reports coming in on Halloween indicated that one 17-year-old trick-or-treater had been sighted making the rounds early in the afternoon dressed up as a 17-year-old wearing a hoodie.
According to sources, the young man, later identified as Jayden Cartwright, was out trick-or-treating unusually early, while it was still daylight, when the littlest kids were out with their parents. Witnesses said he roughly pushed his way through crowds of people and grabbed handfuls of candy without saying "trick or treat" himself.
When the owner of one house did confront him, he begrudgingly attempted to explain his costume. "This is a costume, bro. Uh, I'm like... the Unabomber or something," Cartwright reportedly said at one house. "I worked super hard on it. Now give me candy."
The teen faced significant criticism ahead of nightfall, with many parents hoping he would instead go egg houses or prank other kids like he should. "Doesn't he have some sort of Halloween party to go to where all the girls are barely wearing anything?" asked one concerned parent. "Why is he out trick-or-treating? Troublemaker!"
Cartwright remained committed to trick-or-treating. "It's like, no big deal or whatever," he explained. "I'm totally wearing a costume. I'm... something. I don't know. Can you give me a ride to a neighborhood where the rich people live?"
At publishing time, Cartwright had appeared to have spawned multiple copycats, as hoodie-wearing teenagers with no discernible Halloween costumes were seen going house to house demanding fistfuls of candy.
