Happy Halloween!!??

Just not the same Halloween I grew up with.

Mean people suck and ruined it. They can't take my memories away.

I'm grabbing a beer and crank up ZZtop per Cranky suggestion.
Cheers guys.

I am dressed up as an old fart that is always screwing around in the shop. Wheres that ZZ top CD

I hid out in the garage last year, but this year I broke down and bought some candy for the little monsters. Of course, the rain reappeared, right on schedule, so probably zero, or very few, trick or treaters will be out this year.

Yes, I'm out in the garage checking out some parts for the GTX that showed up today.

17-Year-Old Trick-Or-Treater Dresses Up As 17-Year-Old Wearing A Hoodie

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Reports coming in on Halloween indicated that one 17-year-old trick-or-treater had been sighted making the rounds early in the afternoon dressed up as a 17-year-old wearing a hoodie.

According to sources, the young man, later identified as Jayden Cartwright, was out trick-or-treating unusually early, while it was still daylight, when the littlest kids were out with their parents. Witnesses said he roughly pushed his way through crowds of people and grabbed handfuls of candy without saying "trick or treat" himself.

When the owner of one house did confront him, he begrudgingly attempted to explain his costume. "This is a costume, bro. Uh, I'm like... the Unabomber or something," Cartwright reportedly said at one house. "I worked super hard on it. Now give me candy."

The teen faced significant criticism ahead of nightfall, with many parents hoping he would instead go egg houses or prank other kids like he should. "Doesn't he have some sort of Halloween party to go to where all the girls are barely wearing anything?" asked one concerned parent. "Why is he out trick-or-treating? Troublemaker!"

Cartwright remained committed to trick-or-treating. "It's like, no big deal or whatever," he explained. "I'm totally wearing a costume. I'm... something. I don't know. Can you give me a ride to a neighborhood where the rich people live?"

At publishing time, Cartwright had appeared to have spawned multiple copycats, as hoodie-wearing teenagers with no discernible Halloween costumes were seen going house to house demanding fistfuls of candy.

WE had a good turn out last night mostly lil' kids
I enjoy them

2 big bags like 300+ pieces, like 3-4 each kid...

I usually let my 88 y/o dad answer the door he a chatty Kathy
with the lil' kids & they seem to like him too

he made it thru about 1/2 the kids from 5-7 pm
I did the later shift, 7-9 pm, a lot of younger ones still with parents
we are in a 80 home community, it a convenient way to tricker treat
in a rural setting, we're also 12 miles east of town without going to town
mostly neighborhood kids & their friends

we used to have quite a bit of teen, but a lot more of the lil kids now
maybe 1/4 is teens, & much later 8-9 pm, then I shut my light off

my dog was barking every time they'd ring the doorbell
so I had to make a sign please knock, please don't ring the doorbell
Baron settled down quite a bit after that,
something about the doorbell sets him off

t'was good night, & a good turn out, maybe 80-85 total
