Old Ansen Bell Question

And my question is, would it hold up for 7500rpm?
Not about it being or anything... Just would it be safe up to 7500rpm.

Mybe a better question is, anyone with experience of this old Ansen bell?

You wouldn’t know until your clutch and pressure plate, or worse your flywheel blew up at 7500 rpm. Then if you still have your feet and legs the answer would be yes.

Looks like cast iron, would just increase the amount of shrapnel !

I'd use that bell in a street car, if weight didn't mean anything.
You want safety in a 7500 rpm racecar application? Buy a new scattershield! (With a block saver!).
Have you ever seen the results of a clutch/flywheel explosion?
I have, first hand at the racetrack. Cast iron flywheel, aluminum bell. (About as stupid a combo as i can imagine!) It was NOT pretty. The driver, (NOT me) was VERY lucky not to lose a foot. Shrapnel exited thru both doors, the dashboard, the roof, and windshield.

That's the one Sawed his dragster and foot in half. His next car was the first successful RED. (rear engined dragster.)

I have one also, but have no experience yet.
Is it possible they're cast steel, ...but the cast steel housing for the RB from the 60's have a smoother surface.

here's the explosion, he was damn lucky to just to lose toe/s, not his legs
or balls right draped over the rear axle, straddled over the driveshaft & clutch at his feet
