Now that we are caught up, I just removed the Fenders, Hood, and Trunk and they are off for final body-work and paint. I just pulled my K-Member and freshened it up, just waiting for Bushings, Steerings, Ball-Joints and I will get her back in the car so she can roll for final paint which is anticipated for end of March.

A few more odds and ends I collected. When I got the car it was dissambled by previous owned about 17 years and ago and in boxes, lots missing so a slow and steady process of finding out what I need, have and so forth.
I pulled this 440 out of a 78 Motorhome and stripped her down, it isnt priority right now but I plan to .30 over, deck it, run iron manifolds, iron heads do a mild cam, intake, and 650. Just a mild 440.

Another local Mipar guy upgrades his race cars Transmission so he gave me a good deal on this built 727 with a deep pan, and shift kit ready to go.

I didn't have my bumper brackets but I found a used set online and got them cleaned up. I just need to drill the holes to trunk as the panels overlap still so bolt won't fit through. Will do that mock-up in the next week before I go for paint next month.

Excellent ~ WELCOME from Southern Ontario. Great start on the 68 Charger. Keep us posted. Cheers

Good looking project. Congrats on the excellent progress.

Nice progress on a great car - it doesn't get much nicer than a 68 Charger!

What color will it be once it gets painted?

Welcome! I am doing the same thing, spent most of 2025 rebuilding the shell, now working on grill/dash etc waiting on warmer weather for paint.
Fun project!

I settled on this one, Black Crystal it's called, the hood, fenders, trunk are being done now and I am pulling the doors off tonight and they will get done next week. The interior and exterior body will get done in March. One of the nice things about black is you can paint it at different times which helps me balance things.
