Nothing like the shot over a hood like that, the open road and a quiet town. Perfect!!

@Cojohnso1, is right, the streets are rain clean and I'm out and about. Every Wednesday, all year long, not 2 miles from my house, around 50 to 200 cars show up at a park for a few hours. They got run off at the last place and the city told them, bring it on. I've never gone, but a few friends are all over me to start going. This will be my year.

Yes I love all the little towns around here, I do all my cruising on the old 2 lane roads through the wheat country. I am taking the 3:23 out of the Runner and putting in 2:94 for this kind of driving. I started out with 3:55 in it, that was way too much revvv!

While I can see highway 70 and some of the best shopping in the area out front, the back door runs roads just like you all the way to the Mississippi river and a ride on a ferry. Location, location, location!

My 71 RR came from the factory with 3.55 gears, the previous owner put 2.94 gears in it for better fuel milage in the mid 70's. When I bought it, my plans were to put 3.55 back in it. I have a complete center section already to install, but never have
The low cruise RPM is nice, plus with the 383, the higher speed on the freeway is great also.

All my cars ran mid to high 3 gearing for years, hole shots material. I started installing gear vendors in them for a better combination. My 65 has 323's and a 545rfe trans, nothing but a rocket on the highway. It still pulls hard from a dead stop. Works for me, right down the middle of the road in the fun department.

no. it was electric blue new but it got painted way back when. and ya factory drag pack. no radio when new and i found the factory heater delete kit for it as well.

Sounds like an awesome car.

Is electric blue like Basin Street Blue/Petty Blue/Grabber Blue ?
