A few years back, I had the chance to meet the owner of an identical mod top Barracuda, possibly the same car shown here. Her story was similar to mine with the Demonstrator. She saw the car, new in the show room of the local dealership, when she was 16 years old, wanted one from that time on. She ended up building a career in the hobby, organizing major concours level events.
Along the way, she acquired a similar mod top car. Her connections in the hobby eventually led her to another one. It turned out to be the actual car from back in day, in mint survivor condition.
The car had been described in a Wall Street Journal feature article. The owner was pleasantly surprised that I had read the story. She wished me luck in landing the Demonstrator, and the next year it happened.

I actually don’t mind the mod tops, but take the dorks off and put a set of wheelcovers or rallyes on it… oh and the luggage rack too, thats definitely gotta go

actually no, its a 71 GT going to a new home. Hence the tow guy putting the hook on underneath it. Its not mine although I really wish it was, but it was someones on the C-body forum.A newer Christine?!? ...Looks like it ran over somebody...

Yeah true Fran I’ll give ‘em that, but I think wheelcovers or rallyes will look MUCH betterGee at least they put on trim rings.

mopar ff4 paint and Arizona cactus have something in common. Green in a desert setting really stands out.
Now, I can deal with all of it but the top and don't even put that in the interior. I had mod vans years ago that I built, but not on the outside. Never!

I was grilling some chops today and my Bud cooler was to close at the bottom of the grill and ruined it. For some reason Bud light came to mind. 
I was kidding.............
