74 Charger Rallye 440 TX9

Maybe, I will need to see what I have. 74 is an odd duck with the three point and wiring for the safety start crap.

Either way thanks for offering them up!
That '74 starter interlock is a pain. I was having some issues with it after putting my car back together, even with the seat harnesses unplugged. Ended up having to jump the two yellow wires on the firewall pushbutton to bypass it.

Got it all working without the interlock stuff and looking factory under the hood.

Vinyl top is on.

love it........

I'll fly you in when I'm ready :D

actually Hawk @HawkRod and Barry are already penciled in :drinks:
A third hand is even better. Takes forever laying it out to center everything. And damn Legendary only gave me a 1/2" of extra material at the bottom of the sail panels. Had the thing taped all over in position with a bunch of books lined up along center before I sprayed the first batch of glue.

Agree. When we did Barry's GTX roof, we practiced several times how we would lay it down so we knew exactly where it would lay down on the glue. It was time-consuming to lay it out and make sure, and then a bit nerve wracking when we did it. But it was our first time, so we were extra careful. It turned out really nice.

Started on the tail lights. Cleaned the housings up, lightly blasted them and painted light argent.

Wired up the Digi-Tails and tested them out before I assemble everything. Unfortunately the passenger side brake and turn signal lamps do notwork.I double checked the wiring and it is correct. I swapped the board to the drivers side and the problem moved and the left worked fine on the passenger side so my wiring's good and looks like the board is bad.

I switched to the front while I wait to hear back from Digi-Tails, Refinished the parking lights, installed them in the valance and installed them all. Also blasted and primed the front bumper brackets.

Figured out the right side. Bad turn signal switch. Plugged in a spare and everything works as expected. This allowed me to solder up my connections and assemble the tail lights. I plugged the existing holds with rubber plugs and sealed the one the wiring passes through with silicone. I also added desiccant to the sockets. This combined with the new DMT gaskets should keep the moisture out.

As always great work Jeff, still waiting to see the trim on the vinyl top. :poke::lol:

Glass guy is running late due to storms, hopefully we get a new windshield and rear glass installed today as well.

Sweet.

Is that my (former) harness?

Glad it worked for you.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product all together.
