The saga continues. My wife and I are attempting to finish putting my 68 back together. The two previous shops gutted the doors completely. I have looked at the FSM and it doesn't give enough detail for me to figure out what's even missing, parts wise. I have parts scattered across multiple boxes with no labels. I have never done 68 mopar side glass before, so I'm a bit lost. I don't know what parts I need, so I'd start asking for everything except the regulators. Any help is appreciated.

I’ve found it easiest to install the vent window & its frame first. Remove the little rubber “ear” off the top of the vent window frame, then slide the glass down into the channel. An extra set of hands to hold the glass (from inside the car) until you attach it to the regulator are helpful

Pretty much covered in full detail in both of my sticky threads in the members restoration section. Bee would be mid 2019. Bird mid way in. I'm at camp on cell data, so I'm not searching for it.

No way that I'd do it anyway other than full assembly.

Definitely start going through the build threads as recommended above, there are multiple great writeups on this. A hardtop needs glass setting tape and the stainless piece at the back of the door glass needs to be forced on so whether the thread is about coupe or hardtop makes a difference. The flocked mylar slides are a bit of an arts and crafts project with near zero room for error, holes must be cut in the thin plastic and the plastic pieces are pretty expensive for what they are. The nylon slide shoes are interesting as well. Basically the door glass gets assembled with the vent wing and dropped into the top of the door as one.

There are two videos on you tube buy Dave Rhea of Graveyard Cars. One on the quarter glass, one on the door glass. Step buy step. Very easy to follow and simple.

Check out Paul Broenen on You tube. He does a 66 but is very thorough and methodical.
