Morning would like to upgrade my coupler between my pump and my steering shaft on my 1972 Dodge Charger basket case ,need a spline count or idea were to locate one that fits Tony Outer Banks NC
 
When you say upgrade, what is your plan?
 
The whole car was taken apart and Ive been putting it back together, the coupler was beaten with a hammer so Ive finished the engine and trans now it brakes and steering column and wanted a union type just because? I want to drive it lol ,and yes the stack is upside down just to keep the crows from playing with it Tony

Cheers :thumbsup: to install a union type coupler between the power steering worm spline and the steering coupler and thought if I get the spline size I would be able to order one ?
 
Unless you're using an aftermarket column, get ahold of the oe style coupler. Can be had new or get a used one. The oe style allows for plunge and unibody flexing. A u-joint does not unless you use a telescoping shaft assembly.
