Has anyone upgraded their taillights to LED's?

Karl, you must use an LED flasher with the LED bulbs. Here is the one I used. I bought two of them, one for the turn signals and the other for the 4 ways.

'71 road runner Clutch Fork Adjuster Rod - Did A Nut Fall Off/Missing Or Supposed to be this way??

Get the one from Year One, it should work just fine. You'll need the extra length as the one end goes into the bell housing beside the starter. Here's a pic of mine but FYI the location on the bell housing is WRONG - It has since been relocated to the correct location.

    Need Input On 360 Build

You say the block has a deck clearance of 0.005" - was the block zero decked? Factory blocks had quite a bit of deck in them, typically around 0.090"

    Are You Using Synthetic Oil?

I will be. Currently using the Lucas oil. Because I have low miles on my recently finished Runner restoration. I'll use it the rest of this year and then will be switching over to the Amsoil Z-Rod oil. My 360 engine has a solid cam (Isky) and needs all the zinc it can get. Both oils have...

    My 1971 Road runner

Yesterday I took her out to her very first car show. It was about an hour and a half drive from my house. This was the show. Although it was mainly the newer LX bodied Mopar's the club invited classic Mopar's to their show. So my buddies and I and a few others showed up. The venue was a nice...

    My 1971 Road runner

So I finally got a chance to get back in the garage to finish putting the car back together. Now to button up the engine and get it running. First, put the heads on along with the rocker shafts and rockers. Next, put the intake gasket sides on & let them set-up. And now the intake. Then...

1971 Charger/Satellite/road runner/GTX Vapor Separator Tank - Is It Needed or can I Bypass IT?

The size of the nipples are different on the 71 compared to the 72 separator. I have a 72 separator that I was going to use but the nipple sizes are smaller. I could rig up some sort of hose adaptors but haven't got that far - it may be a winter time project.

71 GTX Emergency brake dash light

I saw your GTX at the Spring Fling show - still looks great! Try pulling the parking brake lever and lifting the pedal all the way to see if the light goes out. Also try disconnecting the wire going to the parking brake, that will turn the light off. If the light stays on after that then the...
