Karl, you must use an LED flasher with the LED bulbs.

I bought two of them, one for the turn signals and the other for the 4 ways.
Get the one from Year One, it should work just fine.
You'll need the extra length as the one end goes into the bell housing beside the starter.

So I finally got a chance to get back in the garage to finish putting the car back together.
Now to button up the engine and get it running.
First, put the heads on along with the rocker shafts and rockers.
Next, put the intake gasket sides on & let them set-up.

The size of the nipples are different on the 71 compared to the 72 separator.
I have a 72 separator that I was going to use but the nipple sizes are smaller.
I could rig up some sort of hose adaptors but haven't got that far - it may be a winter time project.
I saw your GTX at the Spring Fling show - still looks great!
Try pulling the parking brake lever and lifting the pedal all the way to see if the light goes out.
Also try disconnecting the wire going to the parking brake, that will turn the light off.
If the light stays on after that then the...
