    Speed control

Be sure to get the roll pin and pivot clip that holds the CC cable to the carb throttle lever. Most forgotten part by folks stripping the CC stuff.

    Odd column wires

Cool. I was worried that I might have jerked those loose from somewhere that I wasn't familiar with, but it did occur to me that I might have an alternate harness in there too. Thanks!

Desperately seeking a member - this is not an advertisement . . .

Ok guys, we have had a request by a guy who has lost touch with a member he was conversing with here a while back. He is trying to find a member here - real name 'Paul', who has a 1969 Plymouth GTX, is a machinist (or similar) and possibly lives on the eastern seaboard....as far inland as...

    Odd column wires

You most likely have a C-Body turn signal switch. The 3 wire connector is for cornering lights. If everything else works just tape them or tie them out of the way.

fuel sending unit melted on inside! what caused it ???

What I was trying to get across was that it is possible to have a resistance in between the ground (chassis or battery terminal) and the other end of the ground wire where it attaches to the sender or tank etc. That resistance will add to the circuit current.

What did you do to your Mopar today?

I lost my dang mind today actually...list of chores performed: 1. Dragged wife out to garage and had her help me with attempting adjustments to ill-fitting windows in both doors of Fred; he has had a bad habit of the chrome end pieces not staying with the window edge itself as one struggles to...

1963 Gas Gauge Dissection and Repair

I don't know about reversing the polarity - if it was a "Full or Empty" situation then you could switch the position of the needle with a relay. But now you're getting into tricky territory with a reversing of the adjusting resistance. If an in-tank fuel sender could be dismantled, it might...

Fan blade slight contact with big block shroud issue

Thanks for all the good comments! Transmission mount on the four-speed seems fine. This was the same shroud as the last radiator. It's about an 18 inch but need to measure again. It's the standard 7-blade with clutch on the big block Trac Pak car. I will check the 1/3 comment--was not familiar...
