    Golden Goddess heart surgery

My old alignment guy died recently, my experience with raising or lowering the front end of my 65 would change the toe in. At least that’s all he ever adjusted. He was a meticulous old fashioned mechanic, let me look over his shoulder and showed me all his settings. When the body goes up or down...

Raising or lowering will effect toe in more than anything else.

    4 speed oil

Thanks for the reply. Not wanting to highjack this thread. I used to buy it from my fuel/oil supplier, I use it in a couple of bush hog gearboxes. I’d never use it in a transmission. All I can find anymore is 85W/140.

Motor is @ TDC.. Balancer shows @ 45 degrees BTDC

Best way to determine TDC accurately with the heads on is a piston stop. Pretty easy procedure.

    65 Only

The 64 Savoy that I’m redoing right now has side trim just like the 65 Bel 1. I was told that it was optional on the 64, but I don’t have anything to prove it. Pretty sure that I’m going to fill in the holes, haven’t made up my mind yet.

    65 Only

65 Belvedere 1’s had side trim. Not as wide as the Bel 2’s and not as long, it started about the middle of the doors and continued back on the rear quarters. I couldn’t tell you if they all had the trim or if it was optional. I still have the trim pieces, but didn’t use it, all the holes were...

Finally time to pull the trigger . . . starting on the New (much anticipated) SHOP - Build

So… you’re going to keep us guessing on that rounded part of your foundation? I’m still thinking… machine gun turret. Fireplace? Room to put your still? There’s no hole in the floor so it can’t be your outhouse. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
