OK here's the skinny.....I sold the car for $17,000. I get the feeling that this could be a quick flip.....not sure.
The buyer just didn't seem to ask the questions that a guy who was gonna work on the car would ask. Sorta feel like he may have someone in his pocket that wants a...
As soon as I finish the deal I will be happy to update you guys. I appreciate the feed back I got here. It helped me get started. Check back on Sat or Sun.
I agree with Sparky. I'm not that much of a gearhead but I have rebuilt 2 torqueflites with great success. Now I KNOW whats inside and the care that was used putting it together. There is a virtual tranny class on you-tube. That plus the factory manual will make it easy. I had to fabricate...
i don't think it was the fire extinguisher that really saved the day. He disconnected the battery....otherwise it would have just kept burning, long after the extinguisher was empty......QUICK THINKING SAVED THE DAY.

As close to a survivor as you are likely to find today. The motor and trans are original.
The only major work done to date is a complete engine and trans rebuild, brakes, shocks, balljoints, u-joints,fuel...
Not really drivable cause the interior is gutted, all glass is out and so many holes in roof and floors. I've had it for 18 years......too many houses to flip, moves, etc. just time to move on....maybe buy a driver. I would rather not screw up a classic that could be properly restored.
