You can see examples of work done and talk to other convertible owners and get their feedback on what to look out for and maybe recommend a good local shop you can use.

I have personally seen a poured concrete hi-way with a black-top overlay(Iowa Hi-way 25 just north of Creston, IA) COMPLETELY pulled up off the road bed by an F5 tornado ....took it all the way down to the dirt!!!!!

Somehow the problem was with the date/time settings that didn't allow us to change our voice messages.....we must've had a brief power outage that tripped all of our "modern phone tech".....so much for being so close to a gov't military...
Just an FYI.....
We are having "issues" with our phone system. We cannot answer any in-coming calls....and we are un-able to change our phone message from "After Hours" to "Open for Business".
So until this gets all worked out, we cannot accept any phone calls.
Hopefully resolved sooner...
Get with one of your local upholstery shops and get ahold of some bulk heavy fiberboard material like what they would use if they were making door cards from scratch.
Use your old cards as a template to cut your new ones.
I know people who couldn't find success even if they used a flashlight, a road map, or a seeing eye dog........makes me wonder how they've lived this long.....
