    Edelbrock 800 AVS2 Tuning

If I was selling a 'universal' carb, I would make it rich to avoid engine damage, which can occur if the mixture is too lean. With the carb in this thread, I would raise the float level 1/16". The actual level of fuel in the bowl depends on three things: fuel pressure, n/seat orifice size...

    440 valve failure

Correct me I am wrong, but.......the original Chrys keepers that had the 2-3 round ribs. Didn't the keepers butt together in the retainer, leaving the valve 'loose' on the keepers?

    Who has tried this muffler?

Didn't remember what series flowmasters I bought back in the fall of 96. Thought they were 40's but just looked at Summit for 3" in/out and 17" case and 50 series Delta Flows show up so guess that's what they were/are, but just aluminized not black. Back then the 330 only had a real mild 452"...

"Professor Thurston Billingsley" is incorrect in that 100% of grillers just wing it. I'm not about to throw a $25 bone in ribeye on the grill moving it around, hoping for the best outcome. I've spent some time in a restaurant environment insuring the patrons got exactly what they asked for...

440 Source vs Hughes stroker kit

My big block book needs an update but the publisher wasn't super interested last time I talked to them. The book came out before Trick Flow introduced their heads so that is the biggest thing that needs to be updated. I've also done a lot of testing with ported intake manifolds since the book...
