1966 Belvedere 1 Hemi, ***NOT MINE**

Absolutely! It was getting that light speckling/pitting that only die cast gets, just like the HP2 signs on the car. The ends of the pieces at the door openings did not have that "folded over" look like aluminum pieces would have. These were solid die castings. I never expected it on this car.

1966 Belvedere 1 Hemi, ***NOT MINE**

I found my notes on this car. Build date was C14 = December 14, 1965. Engine block casting date was August 16, 1965. Paint was 661. VIN started RH23H61. Father/son team bought it to flip. Father would have liked to keep it, but son wanted $$$ out of it. Odometer only showed 11,000 miles. They...

1966 Belvedere 1 Hemi, ***NOT MINE**

The reason I asked, was that I was asked to authenticate a 1966 Belvedere II 2-door hardtop, equipped with a Hemi, 4-speed, up here in Ontario, a few years ago. The car was an early build HP2, that had originally been painted Mauve Metallic. The car was now sporting a "Resale Red" paint job, and...

For all us magazine guys… which is probably everyone on here.

I really miss the car magazines. I used to buy them all. I had subscriptions to some. I had stacks of magazines and had trouble finding specific articles. As a winter project, one year, I took them all apart, and sorted them all down to year-specific piles of articles, and reassembled them into...

    Love this pic, Plymouth!

Looks like my old convertible on the end (minus the girls). I used that ad on my show sign, as background.

    Wheel Wednesday

Those are my favourite hub caps. I ran a set on body-coloured Police wheels on my Daffodill Yellow 1967 R/T for years. And, I have never called them " dork dishes".

Husband Puzzled By Strange Device Found Near Bread Loaf

Here in Ontario, the plastic bag tie has been replaced by a tan coloured fibrous thingy, as an environmental measure. As another poster said, they are easy to lose on a countertop. We have also lost the plastic drinking straw, for the same environmental cause. You haven't lived until you have...

10 Real-Life Examples Of Why American Measurements Are Better Than The Communist Metric System

As a Canadian, I am offended to be linked to Communism because of a wacky measurement system imposed on Canada by JT's wacky father!

What did you do to your Mopar today?

All my power windows are working now. I still have to put the rear seat back in. I changed leaking valve cover gaskets, and changed the oil. I added GM's Engine Oil Supplement, and put a Wix oil filter on.
