Ive got them torqued down and have gone over them at least 5 or 6 times so far. Feels like they are settling in.
Once its gone thru a few heat cycles. I'll go over them all again.
I realize the studs aint oem. But I dont care . Im more concerned with getting them all torqued as they should...
Putting my intake back on ( yes I switched to all studs ).
A- that way it goes straight down.
B- its easier to torque them accurately.
Is it OK to follow OEM specs / values .
Plus , this way I have close to if not a full inch of thread engagement in the heads . I cut them all from a longer...
To be honest, I don't think 66 carbs and intake will hit that number. IMO more like $3000-range,,,plus or minus $500 I think
1970-71 carbs are in the $5000 range , JUST FOR carbs .
No way would I like to be restoring a stripped car in todays market .

Are these stock Hemi valve guides ??? I know these are NOT OEM valve guide seals
