AC condenser and heater core repair for 1974 roadrunner

Hello everyone, I am working on putting AC back in my 1974 Roadrunner and took my heater core out this week. I took it apart completely to check for any holes or broken parts. The biggest issue i found was that the previous owner cut off the fittings on the condenser and now I cannot connect...

    Why the six pack ?

You can read the results. I can tell you results. From personal experience, back in the day. I destroyed most takers, you had to have a stout combo to keep up. Of course I didn't run against the "race-ready" cars, but the usual street-strip cars... Chevy's were the most formidable opponents. I...

    dp4b vs 1966 intake

Hmmm. IDK. Maybe. I guess I see it maybe a bit differently though. The details are so important on a 383. It is so easy to build a turd. Measured CR, and specifics as to the head work matter. If it’s a true measured 9.5:1 CR, good heads (tight guides, straight valves, back cut, throat...

The vacuum pump comment reminds me of when I ran one on my injected '70 Vette, the suction it created was absolutely incredible and it certainly evacuated all the crankcase pressure!! I've never shown that car here (for obvious reasons) but here's a picture of the engine with the vacuum hose...

    Why the six pack ?

If the engines a match & only difference is the intake I'll take the 6bbl on the street over a single 4bbl or 2x4bbls especially on a low profile 2x4bbl inline set up, until you start spinning over 6,500 RPM & WOT all the time, like dedicated drag racing if that is the case I'd go with a tunnel...

    1966 Charger horn issue

The horn relay is activated differently than most would expect. The relay has 12V power all day long. The center or horn ring in the steering wheel makes a ground to "activate" the relay. So if the wire at your horn relay that goes back towards the bulkhead and into the passenger compartment is...
