    Like I said mine is original to the car. Maybe contact REM and ask them how they recommend shaping them. Edit: I see you already did. Maybe a heat gun or last resort a small steamer. The package tray is held in place with two push through buttons on top and a screw at each end behind the seat.

    There weren't any rubber on the rear openings in 1962. They came later. Do you see any holes for clips?

    Maybe you didn't have your driveshaft out. Lug nuts tight? Happened before on here.
